I'm ok with the scaler gtg being on Saturday too. Honey Badger don't care. What about the rest of the dates? I thought we were still undecided? |

I thought the dates were tentative just so we could be sure there was no other conflicts? I say the dates we have down are fine! ![]()

My vote is to go with the schedule the way it stands. Any other thoughts?

Looks good. Run with it. Watched Top gear last night and they drove up some volcano in Iceland in some sweet rigs and got me really amped to get my scaler finished. ... Aghhhh way to much coffee today lets get this season going wooohoooo |

Ok, we'll call the schedule finalized. Thanks guys. I'll post a Series thread in a bit.

I just noticed we didn't decide where we would hold the two Duluth events. For the scaler event, I think we should check out Lester River. Billy, Mike, and Chad took me there one year. There were 3 really cool spots along the river. Otherwise we could also consider Knife River, Enger Tower, Thompson Dam, or Brighton Beach. For the comp there's Brighton Beach, Break Wall, Enger Tower, Thompson Dam, or Stoney Point. I don't know what condition any of these spots are since the flooding last year. Maybe Billy can chime in? |

I'm comfortable with pimp making an executive decision and just going with it.

My vote would be Lester River for the scaler event, and Brighton Beach for the comp. (Both of course pending they aren't still affected by the flood damage... Billy???) All in favor? |

I can drive through Lester to check conditions but we should be good there. Your tricky pimp but the pictures with the heavy pine needles on the ground is from Chester river. Either way Lester river is a great scale spot.

Actually why don't we have the scale event at Chester? There's plenty of parking and even picnic tables. Definitely one of the coolest areas here.

So I went to check out Lester river and I don't think it will work. The road is closed for the winter months and is currently barricaded off. I'm not even sure if there was damage during the floods. I would say Chester bowl would work best. There's ample parking, very close to the crawl spot and even picnic tables. This would be for the may 4th GTG.
