Urban Assault
 

I was just wondering is there anyone out there that would be somewhat interested in doing an Urban Assault in some large-ish city. Ya know like a bunch of people bring their RC's and drive around the city with them - thought it would be sorta fun:ror:

IDK, haven't thought of it before. I imagine there are some good spots by the river in Minneapolis or St Paul

Yeah its gotta be somewhat cool - we could do it in and around the sculpture garden - and if we got permission(or just didn't get caught) we could drive on the spoon:)

I was joking about the spoon part but the attention is good - part of the reason why urban assaults were started was to grow the hobby - when people see RC's they go "well thats cool where can I get one" and then some actually go buy one thus expanding the hobby - so in some ways the attention is good:ror:

Makes sense. I just picture 65 mph monster trucks putting dents in things. "thumbsup"

I see Chucks crawler falling on the sidewalk and cracking it!

I'll come, I put the crawl in crawler and top out around 5mph with my gearing and motor combo, no dents there

Sorry I was away for a while - I'm thinking we should go right through the very center of Minneapolis - as in right by the Brits Pub/WCCO area - it would be really cool if we could get a group of 10+ going - ya never know might just get televised - ill talk around with the boys on RC Sparks and see how many are interested - I need a count of who would even be remotely interested here - if there's enough we can decide on a date
