I wish we would have talked about holding it on a Saturday back when we were writing up the schedule, because I think it makes sense. But I don't think it's fair to change it this late in the game. Next year, we'll get it right.

Well if its going to be on sunday...the date in the title needs to be changed or add another thread to clarify for all to see. That way if they diddn't read all the way thru, there will be no confusion on the date and as to why it was rescheduled.

I asked our good friend (and section mod) JohnRobHolmes if he could be so kind as to change the date for us. The mods have the power to change it, but not us norms.

For now Norm, this is just a normal comp. The logistics of moving it to Saturday wouldn't work for most local members. However, the out of towners who were thinking of coming can't really make a Sunday work. We'll put this on the books for next year and set the date accordingly up front so everyone can plan around it.

Also, I'll be starting a thread soon to start working out something much bigger for next year...stay tuned

Understandable Super we appreciate your support.

I think this one was a misfire on our part. IMO the Battle should be on the schedule again and on Saturday but with all the planning and preparation necessary for it to be successful. We have a club meeting at the end of season where I'm sure this will a topic.
