I wish there was something we could do to convince you to stay my old "broken buddy". I'm going to miss your world views and life theories. I've also always admired your courage and strength, you've literally been a inspiration for me. You'll always be welcome to drive my junk if you get a itch to run, just give me a heads up for batteries. |

The rules revision makes way more sense but I think the scale driver's arm has to be attached to the dig shaft so that it looks like HE is shifting it.

Wow so much drama over a couple new rules. We basicly just added a couple rules to keep the 1.9 class a little more even. And left the 2.2 trail class as the open scale class. If your 1.9 doesnt fit the rules, put some 2.2s on it. Without rules, we just end up with silly looking comp rigs again which drove away members. The biggest impact will be requiring solid front bumpers, which only a handful of trucks were lacking last season. My truck towards the end of the season included. |

I was reading the rules page and 1.9 trail had the 1 cell lipo limit. Is that correct? Because right now my Holmes Hobby ESC has a 2s minimum. And is my ToySuzki frame rails on the not allowed list? I purchased an Axial SCX10 Jeep over the winter and want to run it in the summer events and keep it within the rules as best as I can. Need to practice my Driving more then anything.

Awe man... Only 2 tires allowed in the 1.9 class. Poo... Well, I run really tall 1.5's that appear to be 1.9's. Does that allow me to run 3 and 1 predator track? It's only fair, and my front bumpers are carbon fiber, does that rule me out as well. J/K! Hell, I still need to actually build a rig.. Hahahaha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know the 1.9 section was edited in jest. But when trying to tell people about what we do and for them to come here and check us out when they are purchasing there first scale rig and the rules they see are those, not everyone has the same sense of humor. This is a great group of people and most are willing to help out a Newb with suggestions on vehicle build and driving lines, that is what kept me spending more to improve my vehicle's and want to come to all of the events I can. Looking forward to see what the schedule will look like so I can make my family plans around the schedule and maybe see about maybe some other items on off weeks also. |

New guys should never worry about the rules. No rig will get turned away... Unless it does well. |

Edited the OP Funny rules logged for posterity. Fresh rules today... - Only 2 tires allowed, you choose which axle or side they go on.... - Dig allowed, but only with a scale guy and a scale shovel ;) - 1 cell lipo limit, don't want too many volts - Tamiya tlt axles required, we'll see how we stack up to norms - Open axle and center diffs - who locks those up anyway ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
