Default Practice session/Scouting?

Hey Jim and I went to Morton this afternoon to a spot that I have been meaning to get to for a long time, well today it finally worked out!
Looks like a great spot for scalers and 1.9's but it doesn't compare to Taylors when it comes to challenging spots for the 2.2's. And its a little over grown with tall weeds and some smaller trees. It looks like who ever owns this land maintains it,(some what, based on the number of tree stumps) but this place it HUGE!!! We stayed toward the top of the hill, from the bottom it looked to be the most promising, but once up there we could see lots of potential spots that we just didn't have time to check out.
So enough with the blah blah blah,
on to the pics!!

There are some awesome views of the river valley.

Cool. Let us know what you find with the other 'potential' areas too.

Well it's been 5ish years... Why not revive an old thread...
This spot instill here obviously, but there is another spot I was scouting today while waiting for the train in Morton. Turns out this new spot is being developed right next to the Minnesota river as a "Stop and camp" location for canoers... There is parking and some maintained trails... I'll grab some pics next time I'm thru here which will be early next week. But it looks like it'd be good for potentially a comp or two.
