A handful of pics. I took over 100 so won't be putting them all on here but here's some more. I stole some pics from the KCRC club page. Yes this is a 1/5 scale servo winch. 1000 oz-in Also made a quick vid on my phone. https://youtu.be/4PgpqIE-AhU Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by dna4engr; 10-10-2016 at 08:20 PM. |

Watched the cell vid, dna4. Crawl-A-Palooza looked fun. Even some hill climb action in there. Thanks. Then let it roll over into the MN RC Snow Crawls. Great garage course! Going to use some of your ideas on my workshop crawling table.

Great result Dana and Derek, I'd say you had a very successful trip plus the experience of a big event. Ten years at Disney this year wow that doesn't seem possible. Our own "Pimpster" won the 1.9 Class and Mr Dean (MORE) won 1.9 Comp Class a couple of years ago both of which are no small feat as you well know. I've always been very appreciative of those who can travel to events it always translates into a better club and stronger competition. Berry Belvedere is an excellent example of just what happens when a well known National Driver joins a local club the quality improves and all the boats rise. Our Pro class improved drastically overnight as we attempted to give Barry a run for his money. Now Adam, Nick and Josh are now making it to numerous high quality big events, mixing it up with some of the best Builder/Drivers in North America and we all benefit indirectly from their experiences. They create a benchmark in our competition that we can all aspire to. So here's a big THANK YOU to every MNRCRC club member who made it to a National Event this year "you guys make us all better and our club stronger". |

Official results are finally being posted. Looks like Derek and I had a pretty good day on Saturday. I think we're both happy with top 10 out of 67 drivers. Considering the rigs ahead of us we're mostly purpose built light weight crawlers. I must admit. Even though I ended up not needing it. It was nice having the option to use a winch. Something to think about for next year ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yep, with this being my first non-local comp I've ever gone to, I'm more than happy with a top 10 finish! -Derek |
