Default MNRCRC 2017 Howl Krawl

It's that time of year... Leaves are changing colors and dropping like flies, it's getting dark early, and people are breaking out their sweatshirts... It must be time for our annual Howl Krawl!

Where: Interstate Park in Taylors Falls, MN
(park in the lot by the 'glacial potholes', not the campgrounds)
When: Sunday October 29th
Start Time: 11:00am
End Time: When the wheels fall off!

This event is purely a trail ride. We may do a small hill climb race just for fun, but otherwise expect a simple event for everyone to just relax and have fun!

We'll be hiking the path that leads from the pothole area towards the campgrounds, then back. Depending on everyone's pace, it's probably gonna take a few hours, so you will want to find a way to bring some gear with you. I would suggest packing things like small parts and tools, snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic of course per park rules), and anything else that may help prevent an early trip back to the car.

I hope to see you there!

I will also have with me a very limited supply of club shirts available for purchase at the Howl Krawl.

Was it as good for you, as it was for me? Lol

Thanks to everyone that braved the cold! It may have been one of our coldest Howl Krawls, but like also one of the biggest! I hope everyone had a good time.

I decided to dust off a old scale project of mine that I built over 10 years ago... I spent all day Saturday fitting a wraith skid plate to the frame, making new links, new shock mounts, and cleaning up a few things.

I had just pieced together a a set of AR60 for another project... Looks like I will need yet another set now, as I want to finish this jeep.

Turned out to be a great day out on the trails.

My first time out to TF. Been meaning to make it out for a comp or 2 but something always seemed to come up last minute. Definitely going to be better about making it to more events next season. Thanks for the fun!
