the pickup, Still working on a way to trailer the fj And I have some work to do before I can even drive it on the road... The transfer case leak is getting worse, After this wheeling trip, i will probably order a few parts to fix that. Also over the weekend I pulled the intake manifold and headers. A few of the threads in the head were stripped from the manifold studs, I had to helicoil them and install new studs. Then I ordered a second manifold gasket, so I can double up on the gaskets to make sure the headers are fully sealed. The truck is very capable, this trip is part of the reason I put the locker in it, and bolted up the swampers again |

You know I will be there. Mike you have fun in Gilbert. Be careful! Troy keep in touch. I have a couple more builds going but will definately take a couple scalers down to run around. I am building a waterproof one as well. You guys all had way more fun running in the water then I dared to attempt. See ya soon. Ryan |

I would go for a while, not the whole day though. I suppose I should get my scaler to driving condition then . I will work on it some tonight and tomorrow night. Just have to install the electronics now and put on the driveshafts. All of the "scale details" still need to be added, but they can wait. Thanks, Casey |

Get to work Casey. It will be a blast. Even if the weather is STEAMING...the river and bluffs keep it nice in the shade. Come one come all...who can. See you there Casey. Ryan |

I don't think I would have my scaler done in time and my parts/wish list keeps getting bigger each time I work on it. Even if I did have it done, I'm going to Cedar Lake Speedway to watch the World of Outlaws.

11 sounds good to me. I will more then likely be earlier. Just have to get a few pieces together but should have 2 if not 3 scalers to run. Troy you make the water look too fun. Now I am working on a 1.9 scaler with bushing axles and waterproof electronics. See ya there. Ryan |

I fully waterproofed the H-L. I haven't had time to check it yet, but I might go down to Mississippi River Park and check it out before Sun. I'm pretty sure it should be fully submerge able though, not that I'd go more then the top of the doors, it's just now real enough. I think I'll get to work today and waterproof that Chevy too I made it water resistant, but I think I'll fully waterproof it. I love the water/mud, and trail running. Update: I waterproofed the Chevy today as well. Both are ready to go Last edited by freetimecrawler; 06-29-2007 at 05:05 PM. |

Not to sound mean, but if it is only 3 people, not sure if I will make it or not. I will be working on it tonight and tomorrow night. I have to waterproof the servo, batteries and receiver. I am nitro racing tomorrow during the day and should be able to work on it tomorrow night. Thanks, Casey |

We're not running until 11 am, and it's a few miles closer. You wouldn't have to leave as early | |

| Lotsa pics!
I am downloading some of the 300 pictures I took. Wow, we had fun. Freetime, Nickelpimp, and myself made it. We hung around for 3 hours or so. The weather was perfect, the scenery was nice too. The waterproofing idea was great, just didn't go as planned. Overall, this is definately on my list of MUST do's for scale trucks. So many things to go over, through and around. Once again I didn't break anything...ok, I did. I was driving up a nice little trail. A young lady and little child walked by, I got distracted and my Scout took a tumble about 40 feet to the ground. Broke the 2 front Diaz leafs. Damn the cute ones always cause problems. Ok, I will get these pics up soon. Ryan |
