There has been discussion of members attending the Midwest Regional Competition; Crawlapalooza. If your not familiar with it check here.

Troy, Mike, and myself are still intending on attending Crawlapalooza. I know others have talked about it. Who else would like to go? With carpooling we can really cut down costs.

We have a competition the same weekend. Our comp is Oct 14th. Crawlapalooza is Oct 12th thru the 14th. A question has been raised of whether to change the date of our comp. Are people ok with changing the date to allow those that want to attend do so without missing a comp and hurting their score?

If we do change the date of the comp, when do we move it to? Looking at the calendar, the open weekends in Oct are the 7th and the 21st. What works for people? If at all possible, we would like to keep the Howl Crawl on Oct 28th. And anything later then that might be pressing out luck with the weather gods.

We need to decide soon since preregistration ends Sept 30th and the entrance fee goes up after then.

Also, since it was decided to waive the X-Games from being an official comp, should we just make it the best 4 out of 5 scores this series? Or do we want to try to make up that date?

i voted the 21'st but after i checked my calender i realized that that date is the end of MEA weekend and i may be out of town. i cant change the vote i put in though, but the 7th sounds good.

Personally I'd like to see a addition to make up for the X-Games, I think it will help ease the winter blues...

Like Storm said if weather gets nasty, then go to the 4 out of 5 scoring.....

mo comps = mo better!

5 days left to vote. The pole will close on 9/25. There are 6 votes for the 21st and 2 votes for the 7th (Tman wants his vote changed to the 7th).

Well, with only a few hours left, it looks like it will be changed to Oct. 21st. Thanks to everyone who voted. I will change it on our website in the next day or so.
