My SCX10 is still in my truck from yesterday so I guess ill have to stop by the moose lodge when I get off and check it out for a little while before the great ball of fire falls out of the sky. Ill probably arrive there around 5:15pm if anyone wants to join in.
Just curious if you made it out there yesterday??

I did. My wife was fussing at me to get home and grill some steaks so I didn't even break out my truck. I just walked around and checked out that 1:10th grand canyon. It looked pretty cool. We should try and schedule a time for a little gtg out there.

Yep, IIRC, the "Grand Canyon" wraps all the way around the property. It is really "soft" in some spots. There also is a smoother "dry lake bed" area, too.

The best thing: every time it rains, the washouts change

Well they are supposed to have that comp at the yard tomorrow but if the weather tomorrow is anything like what today was I'm not leaving the house. We can set up our own "comp" at "moose canyon" some other time. I may even bring the mrc.

Yeah, i dont get much of a lunch break most of the time. I usually bring my lunch and eat and work at the same time. Im always off sundays, it is supposed to rain tomorrow though. Nobody responded this morning so i started painting. Since my brain doesnt quite function correctly sometimes. i decided to use krylon to paint my lexan body instead of spending a little extra money and it was chipping off pretty bad. I couldnt get it all off so... whats a man to do? Tape off all the decals and paint the outside. Its coming along okay so far. I just have to wait sooo long for the first color to dry so i can tape it back up and do the next color.

If anyone is ever in the Gulfport area I have quite a few spots to crawl... rocks, dirt, mud, sand, hills, clay, water, spillways and crushed asphault ;). We usually go atleast once or twice a week and early Sat or Sun mornings

How early? I'm not big on mud or water but rocks and trails is all good.

Just noticed my avatar is my truck sitting in water... But it's clean shallow water on rocks.
