a 4 hour drive isn't so bad when you are carpooling with other crawler buddies"thumbsup"

helhedded 10-20-2010 09:27 AM

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that this place has sandpaper traction

JohnRobHolmes 10-20-2010 09:39 AM

Wow, what a nice location! Certainly looks to have some traction there.

This is all that he did for the entire 4-5 hours we were out there. RUN! JUMP! DIG! WATER! RUN IN WATER! YAAAAAAAAAAY

Rootar 10-20-2010 11:54 AM

Holy hell thats a cool spot, and sardis isnt that far from me. bookmarking this thread :D

neillarson 10-20-2010 12:45 PM

You can get some of the same terrain down around the Ross Barnett Reservoir and on the Pearl, Yazoo and Sunflower rivers. Of course on the RBR your crawler might get eaten by a gator.

I am retiring in that area in 2.5 years so I hope it stays the same. Though I could end up much closer to Memphis.

The Biz and I crawled this place today. It was great. It might only be great for Mississippi, but it was great.

Sweet, maybe we can meet up one day and burn through some packs.

Bigdrewbowski 02-10-2013 10:42 AM

That would be great.

Re: Sardis Lake Jackpot

I just had a knee replaced but I would be up for some scaling up that way by late spring. Only about 125 miles for me.

Bigdrewbowski 02-13-2013 11:25 AM

I don't own a scaler. You're more than welcome to come if we can schedule a day to run.
