Bumping this back up. I would like to see if anyone has gotten the bug yet? I have some friends that like to go crawl with the real things and a few of us have gotten (or getting) into the RC side of things also. Just looking for others to see if we can get something going around here. |

I am moving that way, to Sandhill, MS in the first week of October. I have a large pond for boats and am planning to build a nice big scaler course. We are also either enlarging one of the small ponds or digging a new one for my wife's Kois so that will be a place for scale boats.

I'm in Brandon. Got an ax10 and a custom frame e-maxx. I'm working on a emaxx based hill climber as well.

I am now in the area. Currently living in my RV till my house is done. I will have lots of room for the crawler course and I have a 18 acre pond so plenty of room for boats too. It will be a couple of months before we re in the house and I have my shop built. I am really missing my RCs.

I am just about 2 miles past the junction of 43 and 25. I have a well built Wraith but all my RC stuff is still in storage. I just had a new knee put in and will be a bit before I get them out. If it was my choice, I would go with the kit, a Holmes Hobbies BR-XL ESC, a Holmes Hobbies 13 to 16 T Crawlmaster motor, Castle BEC, Hitec HS7955 servo. Run it all on 3S and you will be good to go.

Servos are what you pay for them. Ther are cheaper Hobbico and Tower models but you will ack service on them. As it is impossible to kill a HS79XX, I still managed once. Shipped it back and received a new one in a couple of weeks. There are some equivalent Savox and they have great customer service. I have heard the same with Futaba but no experience in and surface applications with them.

Mr. Neil, just wondering if you ever got your wraith out of storage. I still haven't bit the bullet yet to buy mine. Still yet to see one in person.

Your welcome to come out and check it out. Also have a nice C2 Mog and a couple C1 Hiluxs (SCX10 and a TF2). Lots of other projects.

Toyoguy85 we (Beau and his friend David) went out Saturday to the lower side of spillway crawled from the parking lot to around the corner for a ways. I Twisted a drive shaft on a root but we had a good time. Were gonna try and start getting a group together and go crawling different places . Guys at hobby town say they sell several Wraiths and SCX 10's a month need to start rounding ppl up. 601.503.4770.
