Nacho, I aint had a problem with either of my ESCs yet, for this i am going to bag them since the water is rather deep. I have had NO problems ont he spillway with my Rooster, It its gotten soaked everytime. The only non waterproof problem is the stupid set button, if water gets in it directly, it'll make it act funny till its back out. SImple plastic bag, couple sip ties and some grease take care of it. The ESCs wont get hot enough on lather motors to worry about. ANd beyond that, i am going to put my jeep in the tub to see how water proof it actually is.

Thanks for the reply. After I put the post up I found the THREAD about your B-Day Bash.

Nope, I haven't been to Cuiver River State Park, I've only lived in this area for 16 years, guess I'll have to ride over on the next nice day and see what they have. I'll post my findings on CRS Park.

Also just saw the posts about a gtg at Lake 35 this past weekend (which I missed), :-( guess I'll have to start checking the Missouri Thread more often.

Later,
Hawk

Hawk, we are going to lake 35 for the Monthly GTG this sunday. the one you missed was a spur of the moment thing, but of course the weather killed it. This weekend looks nice so weather shouldnt kill us off since its the bigger GTG that everyone comes too.

I finally got a shipping email form from happitoy. by next week I should have the stuff I ordered on the 5th of march. which includes the new battery for the 14'r. I'll have it running slow for this weekend, the willys king should be out there also (got a new R&P for the rear axle, no more clicking) The Chinese grab bag also has the parts for completeing Snakebite, so it won't be out yet. I did get part of my hardware order in from boltdepot.com so I have got M3 locknuts nw, just no bolts

it is almost getting cheaper to sit at home and have stuff shipped to you than it is to drive out and get it yourself. but you definently don't get the customer service...

I hear you there, but I am too damn impatient to wait. Only time I wait is if the LHS doesnt have it or I know I have to order it.

Damn you need to share the place you found that stuff, buying packs of 10 at the hobby shop is killing me.

Scale is almost ready, hoping to be ready for sunday but I still got a lot of work left. The soft top and the body with LEDs all have to be done and with trying to run my business and find a new place to move too, time is becoming a precious commodity right now.

Boltdepot.com

1000 m3 grade 8.8 Nylon Lock Nuts were $30
1000 m3 8.8 flat washers were $10
I got some m4 and m5 washers and loknuts for tire mounting.

shipping wasn't too crazy either.
