Found a new crawl Spot perfect for rain or Shine. Winter or Summer.... Southwest side of Town. Follow Battlefield Rd West till you just come about a block to West bypass. There is a bridge there. Under that bridge there is a large Rock Hill and a large flat area. A bike path and creek pass under that same bridge. The bridge is large enough to cover any type of rain or blistering Sun. I plan on having a get together and a Comp this summer down there. Went at took a friend down there to test it out. Endless about of course can be made very easily. Anything from Scalers, 2.2 and even Supers can be ran there with a Little work. Across of the rocks there is an open area that can be set up for tables and chairs. One down side to it all is. Parking.... There is none. We would have to park some where else and car pool. I'll try and snag some pic's Monday and post them up.

Jarod, I actually live roughly two miles from the site you mentioned and snapped a picture of the area yesterday. ![]() Another site which have crawled with my super is the bridge located on Route M (Republic Road) just West of West Bypass. Unfortunately, as with the Battlefield site there is no direct parking to the area without some hiking. ![]()

Rebublic Road heading West changes to Route M after you cross over West Bypass (State Highway FF). This bridge is located roughly .5 miles west of West Bypass on Route M.

Here is a Map of Springfield.. I'll Post up a Map of Ozark also where I have found Crawl Spots. Maybe a few guys from Branson or other areas can post them up as well. This is just a map from Google. Should be an easy way to keep take of Crawl Spots and maybe find some new ones. 1. West Battlefield Rd. about 1/2 mile before West-by-Pass. There is a bridge. Crawl Spot is under bridge. 2. M Highway also known as West Republic Rd. Get on M Highway and head east. Right before Farm Rd 174. There is a Bridge. Crawl Spot is under it. 3. Sequiota Park. Great place for Scalers and 2.2's. Walk the Creek bed in either direction. Park is located on South Lone Pine Ave. Turn South off of Battlefield Rd about 3 miles on the Left. 4. Is down by Springfield lake. At the gate of Springfield Lake Park. There are tons of boulders lining the Road into the Park. This is a great place to test your Supers or 2.2 Ledge Climbing. No Name on the Raod. Last edited by run2jeepn; 05-03-2008 at 01:39 AM.

Here is a Map of Ozark, Mo... Both spots are on the same road. The one on the south side is behind Lowes and the other is what I call the Waste land. It's located right behind Walgreens. 1. West Wavery St. Behind Wal-Greens. This place is a Dumping ground for Ozark City. Just a bunch of piles of crap. Rocks, Roads you name it. I haven't crawled there yet. But doesn't look to bad. Better then nothing if your close by. Be a great place for a Basher... 2. West Marler Ln. Behind Lowes. Kind of a place for everything. Mainly 2.2's. Might find a few ledges for Supers to climb. 3. It's just north off E. Jackson Street. There are some Apartment Building to the right. There is a low water bridge. Good for Scalers and maybe 2.2's. Creek is low enough to crawl through most spots. Some walking trails and a Small Cave that Caved in about 10ft in. Last edited by run2jeepn; 05-03-2008 at 01:44 AM.

Updated the Maps with Numbers and Road names the best I could. Should help. Once we get more guys around. We will start some GTG's. As they grow we will start having Comps once a Month. Right now I only know 2 or maybe three I could call for a GTG. I you live anywhere near Springfield or Ozark. PM me your Name and Number. That way I can have it on File. So when we do have a GTG I can call around and let everyone know. One more thing. If you need anything I might not have. Check in with Sleeth Hobbies on Sunshine. It's across from ANPAC. Tell them I sent you. | |

We went to marshfield and did some crawling. The main park there has a little creek running next to the road, its sort of like a trail run, was pretty fun. Then right down the road there is another little park and it has more rocks and such wasnt too bad a spot eaither. We should get together and run em one of these weekends.
