Ok Heres Some Rules 1. 1.9 Scaler Only! 2. 55, Turn Lathe Motors Only......no Exc! 3. No Cheater Tires. 4. 6 Cell Only !!!!!!!! No Brushless B.s.!!!!!! Trying To Make It Fair For Every One To Race. Not Every Body Can Afford The Brushless Crap 5. EVERY BODY MAKES TWO RUNS, WE ADD THEM TOGETHER THEN DIVIDE THEM IN HALF. THAT IS YOUR RUN TIME? Last edited by JEFF THE JET; 05-11-2008 at 09:39 PM.

| those rules are a BIT STIFF. We arent trying to be the NATs here 1.9 only is GOOD 1.9 ONLY SCALE/ TRAIL Rigs, NOT COMP RIGS Tires dont really matter, just just MUST BE 1.9, not 2.2 CA'd to a 1.9 wheel, 2.2 tires must be cut down to 1.9 size Motors: JUST NO Brushless, brushed CRAWLER motors only, basically nothing below 35 turn, REQUIRING 55T ONLY MAKES US NAZI'S!!! Batteries: 6 cell limit is another NAZI THING. max 6 cell or 2 cell Lipo. 2 runs MAY take to long but good idea. OR, points that add to your time. Like if you roll over, 5 secs added to your time, if you "bump" for help over something, 3 secs. I am just throwing ideas and random numbers. BUT WE SERIOUSLY DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE NAZIS BUT ABOVE KEEP IT OPEN ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE BUT KEEPS THE Comp Rigs FROM COMING IN AND WINNING AGAINST SCALE RIGS, REALLY AINT FAIR AT ALL. ALSO, LEAVE THE SUBMERGING OUT OF IT, WATER YES A MUST, BUT NOT SUBMERGING, THAT KEEPS TO MANY PEOPLE OUT OF IT FOR FEAR OF RUINING THINGS. Last edited by Mav-1981; 05-11-2008 at 09:53 PM. | I Dont See How "my " Rules Look Like "im " Being A Nazi. Its A "real" Standard Of Crawling. Just About Everyone Of Us Has 55 Turn Motors, 6,cell Batterys And So On......a Standard....the Pionts Thing Sucks .. |

If your trying to keep cost down jeffs rules are better Makes it more of a drivers challenge. Definitly agree on the water hazards Xtrail BB-51 Ute Custom as long as its scale looking. Etc.

Nazi thing was just a term I use for being strict. I was just throwing up my opinions. The other things are common, but being that strict alienates people, thus keeps people from attending, competing and it takes the fun outta it. I am looking at trying to expand our members and keeping it more fun than rules, but again, just my thoughts

Ok I see point there, keep the guys will TOO MUCH MONEY from kicking everyones butts (damn it,lol) I wasnt trying to step on toes, just my ideas. I do much agree with limiting 1.9s, and the rules dont bother ME but I was more concerned with others that have 1.9s that see what we are doing and want to show up. Me changing my plans to fit are fine, I was USING MYSELF AS AN EXAMPLE. Batteries, I aint giving that up, cause the lack of performance difference between 6 cell and 2 cell lipos. Thats why I edited my last post, cause i accidently put 7 cell batteries. And quite honestly, 2 cell lipos if looking at cost level, are the same or in some cases less than 6 cell and only rated at 7.4 volts versus the 7.2 of 6 cell packs. So I still think 2 cell should be allowed cause its still fair but then I dont have to redesign my hole fron end of my 1.9 rig to hold a 6 cell pack. MOTORS, limit of 55T cause I know Chris runs a 65T, which is actually slower. I am just pinning a technicality there, lol. Sorry if I come accross as a pain, but making things too strict and all that are some of the reasons why i didnt join a club till now, cause I DONT WANT TO BE THE EXACT SAME AS THE NEXT GUY. Plus I run a company, I have never been one that likes to alienate ANYONE, i prefer to SPREAD THE LOVE!!!!

I dont have a problem on the other rules, its just how I look at things, from others point of view. But the battery thing I wont let go of, I just wont run. My winch deal looks like its going to fall through so I have to make my own, which requires space that I wont have packing a 6 cell underneath. Like i put, a 2 cell lipo is NO ADVANTAGE over a 6 cell, maybe actually as I think about it, possibly a disadvantage as I loose the weight over the front tires. I will leave that up to you guys, doesnt matter to me, but thats just my position on it. Sniper, as for the frame thing, My thoughts/all reading so far, just means frame rails that extend from to back, whether you make or buy means nothing, just a "scale" frame design. I use Xtrails on both my Scale rigs.
