| Wentzville, St. Louis area guys
I am transferring to the Wentzville area. I will be living in an apartment or hotel the first couple of months but will be buying a home very soon. Any suggested areas? Where are the good school zones(one 5 year old daughter)? I am leaving in the morning at 4 am and should be there by 2pm, maybe I will run into some of you I stashed the comp rig and one scaler just in case. btw, I am drivin up from Louisiana. |

Wentzville was the sticks 15 years ago, about 10 years ago, industry started moving out there now it is a blend of leftover rednecks, mexicans doing the work, and hardcore yuppies. I go out to the flea market (church street north till it T's, then left) and it is usually a good time. nothing like watching an old white grandma arguing price on a piece of wrought iron that a Brother from in the city is trying to sell, while listening to labamba played on a guitar three booths down. oh course i get into that.red or yellow black or white, all their money is green. It seems like a nice area. it is still growing, but it is far enough out prices aren't ungodly it is clean, and the older parts of town aren't completely run down. I wouldn't have any problem living up there if I didn't take me 45 minutes to get there on a good day (i live southwest) |

Welcome to the area. As said, we play out near there, so when we hit Lake 35, its a quick drive for you. Your in the right section to keep track of what and when we are doing stuff as well as our website. new members are always more than welcome at our GTGs and just the random things we do at spur of the moment. I know I was wanting to hit lake 35 again soon, I like it out there. Sorry I cant tell you much about the area, I just moved here 2 yrs ago, but everything i have heard, that is a good area. |

Wentzville is a nice area, I'm up there almost once a day. We had 3 good size subdivisions out there where stocked with shingles on the houses. I'm pretty familiar with driving up there. Welcome to Missouri |

YOU EXPLAINED OUR COMPS EXACTLY,lol. Running scalers and talking smack, lol. 2.2 scale you might have your hands full, lol, THAT'S WHAT WE DO AND DO WELL!!! As for the location, its in your GPS under Cliff Cave, thats how I got to it the first time, GPS ROCKS!!! and we'll be starting about noonish, we're usually fashionably late, lol. And IF YOU HAVE TIME, granted I know you JUST got in the area, sunday, some of us are hitting Lake 35 (Busch Wildlife in your GPS) to play around for a bit cause we aint been there in quite some time. JUST BE READY FOR A WALK,lol. |
