Default Meramec State Park Crawl Spot

I just got home form my camping trip in Sullivan, and aside from the carnage it was a great time. I scouted Meramec State Park and found some great crawling spots. I was somewhat limited by time at the park on Sunday so I headed straight to a spot I knew well, Sheep Cave. The cave sits behind cabin #1 across from the picnic area and play grounds. There is a decent size parking lot a short walk from the trail to the cave. This is the only spot I got to crawl as I destroyed the stock WK shocks by the end of my first battery pack. Here are some pictures of the trail and cave.

Last but not least, I give you CARNAGE!

This place was alot of fun. I found another prime crawling spot with some running water, lots of obstacles, logs, a dilapidated concrete bridge, you name it. It is a nice big cave 3 miles down river from the Sappington Bridge and would require a float trip to get there. But hey, they make waterproof boxes and rafts dont tip, so why not?

It's about an hour and fifteen from North County/St Chuck. I-44 south to 1st Sullivan exit/Hwy185 go left, continue straight through town, the park is about 5 miles from the interstate. It is 15 miles past Stanton/Meramec Caverns/Jesse James' Place.
