I have a family thing until 11:00am. I plan to head over after that.

I only have a few things left to finish on my scaler before Saturday. I need to finish mounting the electronics, the front and rear bumper, and mount the body. I should be able to get it running tonight.

I almost forgot, I need to waterproof a few things too. I have a couple of parts I'm waiting on, but none of them is a deal breaker, they would just be nice to have. This will probably be it's maiden voyage so to speak.

Any idea how many are planning to attend?

I plan to make it out there. All Ive gotta do is paint the body, build a chassis of some sort, and um...everything else.

I can try to bring mine. It's not too bad, I think it can get the job done.

BTW, got any suggestions for how to mount a body. I will probably have to use some body posts due to time constraints.

I got it running last night, so there's hope. I need to do some tweaking now to make sure everything lines up right.

Alright, it's running.

It could still use some tweaking, like suspension adjustments, but it works .

So without further ado I give you the first look.

I found the website for Cave Springs. It has a map and some pictures. It looks good, this should be fun.

Hey that looks good! I like the paint job. Did you do a build thread?

Not yet, I was too focused on getting it done. I took some pics and plan to start one.

The bummer is I trashed a shaft on a test run. I will have to see if I can get over to Hobby Town and pick up some max shafts before 12:00.

These is definitely some work that still needs to be done, but it's a start.

you might stop at hobby haven first. Hobby town is going out of business, opening on time and keeping inventory isnt exactly high on their priority list.

Im officially down grading my attendance to a definite MAYBE. Too many snags on such a short timeline.

Hey Dub, I've got a set of Maxx shafts I'm not using if you need 'em.
Planning on being there, with what, I'm not sure yet.
But I will have Dinky R/C T-shirts

Which Hobby town? HT south has moved to 119th and metcalf and has gotten rid of the toy stuff and will be getting more RC stuff. They seem to want to take care of us better.
