I sent Big Rich an e-mail about this, we will just have to see what he says. I know he is busy setting up for the W.E.Rock event this weekend in TN so I don not know when I will hear back. Scott

Josh, These things are funny somethimes with people thinking they are having thier toes stepped on. I feel that as long as it is not a "W.E.Rock" RC event I would hope it is not a problem. I also hope W.E.Rock is ok with it be cause of noting else it wil bring more people to the event. Scott

Dave is talkin' to big Rich with WEROCK to see if we can get a comp set up on the 30/31st of this month. The comp would be held during the WEROCK East Coast Nationals event, probably on sunday the 31st. From now on we will be setting up two (or more) 2.2 courses, one superclass course (w/10+ gates) & two 1.9 courses during each of our comps Tom (owner) is going to turn the middle island (located in the upper bowl) into a RC crawler PARADISE. The island is were we comped last year, only we will be adding MASSIVE amounts of new rock via the track-hoe. The top is level and plenty large enough for us to set up our sunshades/tables, & have a killer veiw of all the 1:1 action I have built a portable cable bridge, and a portable suspension bridge to incorperate into our courses. We plan on raising the bar a notch or two Cory, You will have to come up SOON & run that CFNN @ the quarry.... PM me, we'll set somthin' up

| Whats happenin' Jeff.. Our 1.9s will be comp rig courses. If you guys want to set up scale courses you are MORE than welcome to do so. A few locals have scalers & would be down with runnin' them. We will be setting up courses a little different next time around. Instead of one guy being responsible for setting an entire course. We are going to try multiple people setting a couple gates in each course I.E. if there are 8 gates in a course 4 guys get to set 2 gates each. Keeps things fresh & the "bitchers" appeased |

I THINK THE COURSE'S THAT WAS SET UP LAST TIME WAS VERY NICE...VERY COMPETITIVE. JMO. I ONLY BITCHED FOR A MINUTE. AFTER WE CAME HOME FROM THE LAST COMP AT HANNI AND SHOWED THE PICS TO THE GUYS THAT DIDNT MAKE THE TRIP , THEY TOO WILL BE COMING UP NEXT TIME.

HAPPY B-DAY BRO! I wasn't actually reffering to you Jeff, "other nameless A-holes" have accused me of setting "MOA Biased" courses in the past Whatever the F*CK that means IMO if you can't hang...get buildin' Thats why I ditched the shafty in the first place...getting beat has that effect. Glad to see word is spreading down south. Last edited by RockAddict75; 05-03-2009 at 04:11 PM.

NICE I know this has nothing to do with this thread, so this is as far off topic as I will get MR.MOD...Sir. The Mantis is one of the best performing chassis' I've ever run. Just be sure to put a spacer in between the rear links @ the backbone I found out the hard way The guys at DNA (Don & Solomon) are some of the niceset dudes around. I sent Don an E-mail about my problem, and in a week NEW side plates were in my mailbox:-P, at NO charge BTW! Runnin' the spacer will prevent the carnage. I made one from 3/8" square delrin stock. Make sure to taper the ends to follow the line of the backbone. If you cut it square, it throws the spine out of whack. Also the first thing you will notice once you get it mocked up is the supplied links are too long. I think I ended up with a 14+" WB! you will have to shorten up your links.
