We will have finishing times written down, so really a decent comparison can be done. If somebody from group two finishes under 5 minutes and 40 points, it will be straight up comparable. If they don't, then they deserve to be in group two What I did last time was let people know when they hit 40 pt or 5 minutes, but allowed them to keep crawling for a few minutes longer. That kept all the scores even and comparable but let people play around for longer if they wanted. Maybe we could run the first 15 on a strict time to get them used to nationals type running, and ensure timely completion. Then let the rest of the group run in a longer time slot but still keep the 5 minute/ 40pt rule for the scorekeeping. |

I agree with you. And the rules should be decided by those 15 who are going for the nats.

let the 15 decide the rules. I like the carry though & higher points ( gives me more wheel time ) with that said it is for a national invite & since they don't play that way so for this neither should we. If it is decided to have no carry through then that is how we find out who is best in MO. |

The 20th works for StL Crawl. No 20 point carry. See you there |

I do like this. again depending on the actual # of additional competitors. 20th works fine. and if we are determining the best of the best all national style scoring and rules should be adhered to and should determine the "king of mo" I already know I'm more of a knave so I'll follow what the final word is.

CMRC didn't run a 1.9 class this year, but we could certaily have the 1.9 crawl off here. I don't know if STL held 1.9.

| If STL didn't then there really won't be a Crawl off I guess. We could still hold a 1.9 comp regardless though. I guess it is up to everyone who is running them at that point.
