MO-Crawl off agenda and plans

Lets get it all nailed down guys.

The KC guys all plan on being to Columbia by about 9AM Saturday morning. A couple of us may come down the night before (still undecided).

We should have courses set and drivers meeting underway by 10AM.

Crawling starts at 10:30 <-- does that work for everyone? Ross?

Each club needs to set one course, and then all 3 can combine forces to set the finals course.

Do we need to be there earlier? Are there any conflicts for anyone?

Oh yeah, bring bug spray. I got bit to hell this weekend.

SACCO 06-17-2009 10:11 AM

Free crawl, I say its the only way to go.

No point out per gate.

Agreeable?

I say let's use the '09 rules. That's just me though. It would take out alot of personal rules modifications.

Nish 06-17-2009 05:24 PM

'09 rules no gate point out. free crawl just my vote

All the standard rules and none of the alternates. The 20pt carry rule is an optional rule listed in section 1.7 if I remember correctly.

I agree.

I agree.

maybe you should let me be the MO rules rep. :)

Unless I am looking at an old set of 09 rules(3-11-09):-(

1.7 - Maximum Penalty Points:
1.7.1 - The maximum points per gate is 20. Once a driver has reached the maximum of 20-penalty
points, they will be placed past that gate. No progress points are given for the gates not cleared. (20

pt maximum per gate is optional)

3.5 -
Starting order will be a random draw for the first course. The running order of subsequent courses will be

run with the first place driver driving first, and the next lowest driving next, and so on.

Oh you mean for the running order. The Free-Crawl seems to run much better for the bigger events is all. I didn't think you were referring to that too. That way we don't have to run in any specific order or run in groups.

SACCO 06-17-2009 08:18 PM

I mean the 20 pt per gate point out too.

The rules say the 20 pts is optional, not the pointing out part. so, the pt out could be 20, 30, or 40 pts per gate etc., but there should still be a pt out per gate.

After a 30 min phone conversation with Josh, we is gonna do the NO carry rule"thumbsup"

Chatty Cathy

But I think we were thinking no 20 for the top 15, and whatever everyone else wants to run is fine. Does anyone think that would be too hard to manage?

Also, should I bring score sheets?

The percentage keeps going down now. Only 30% chance of scatter storms.

30% seems low to cancel. What does everyone think?
