Default I miss KC

Been snooping around your forum reliving my youth Reading up on your comp threads, I've been to pretty much all of these places at one time or another. Making me all home sick..... Next time I visit my dad in harrisonville, and my Aunt/uncles In Olathe I'm so bringing some toys. I didn't see any pics from the Swope park area, any one crawl around there or is it too shady??

I used to live off Blue Ridge, on Corrington then later in Lee's Summit on Micheal off Chipman Rd. There used to be lots of places that would have been sweet to crawl back in 95' I'm sure they're all sub divisions now though.

just for shits and giggles hows the job situation down there right now??

Job market is pretty good as far as transportation goes. Road work, rail work, engineering, etc. We are hiring again finally on the engineering side. The stimulus job stuff is pretty much rapped up here so will start on construction next. We have started to see a lot of developers come back to us now too which is great, we stopped development work about two years ago when everything tanked.

Im out in Raymore and I can tell you that there isnt much out this direction to crawl. And for the record its starting to get kinda "shady" out here too. Seems like most of our comp spots are more towards Independance and blue springs areas. From wha ive seen it looks like construction work is slowly picking up. Its better now than it was this time last year.

"Crawling with the safety off" as rockmonkey used to say.

I went riding last night and found a camp ground by parkville that looks good. Need to contact the and confirm, could be a fantastic spot.

That bad huh? I remember back when I was in Boyscouts 89-90 ish going in there and doing repelling training on this large 15' rock wall, and thought to my self now it would be a cool crawling spot. But if I need to carry my .45 I'll pass. I know my old neighborhood on corrington has gone downhill. Hickman Mills off 107th and Blue Ridge Blvd.

You dont necessarily need a .45, a couple of 9mm will make your point.

Im guessing Swope Park would be ok if we started comping around 5am and made it out of there before the locals started waking up.
I used to live at 92nd and Blue Ridge Blvd about 10 years ago and didnt think much of the area back then. lol
