It's been a hoot! The boys are doing great at 5-1, and I'm looking forward to the play offs. But every Saturday for 2 1/2 months sucks!

but still need to finish up baggin the flower pots & some sitting benches would be nice !!

as for naming parts of the course,
i came up with two so-far, now its up to you guys for the rest !!
lets come up with the names, get them printed or what ever & put up.

we do need a nice sign or two for the starting podium,
& the drive out front,
just be sure KCRC & Goat Hill R/C ORP is on it !!

I think I rattled all my marbles loose on that 3rd or 4th lap....I forgot what yours were Jerry... (and you sir, have first say)




Speaking of the signs....how many total "area's/trails" you think we have? Didn't count all of those bookends but I know I got close to a dozen at the house and probally twice that back in our stash pile. Drew a rough draft up real quick at work today, i'll try and print one and mount it up and snap pic, see what think.
As far as names...lets hear it. I will do whatever you guys want (ie. famous/noteworthy trail names or more personalized to our club)

And one thing that would be cool to add out there is a scale version of Flex-n-Stuff from down at S.M.O.R.R. Its basicly an eroded creek bed that has major humps alternating on either side at a 3/4 car length pace to really workout the vehicles articulation. It is one of those trails that is severely underestimated and sees a lot of roll overs. But it would be easy to take a mattix or shovel and dig one out on one of the "easy straights"

Another idea would be dig a big V like at V-notch. Make it a bit twisty but you have to balance your tires on both sides of the V to keep going, if a tire drops to the bottom of the V there is a good chance you will be rubbing body or wedge yourself in. All about the patience and finesse.
