Goat Hill Scale Challenge !

KCRC presents
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m...s79bc2f951.gif

8-mile scale timed challenge runs
@
the Goat Hill r/c Off Road Park
Oct 27th
starts @ 9.00 am

GOAT HILL

7500 O'Flaherty rd, KC, MO

GH Adventure challenge.
one lap- 8 scale miles - timed run.
any class 1.9/2.2

A predetermined course time will be figured out @ a slow to medium walking speed,
NO running,
NO ONE will know that time - not even the race director.

a general finishing time frame will be announced.
IE:
say the general finishing time is,
some where in-between 12 to 19 minuets is where each driver will need to finish.
closes to the predetermined time (closest over or under) will win.

finishing under or over the general set time frame (IE: under 12 or over 19 min),
you will be disqualified.
so you cant be TO FAST or TO SLOW & have to watch your time !!

everyone will run on there own clock,
with drivers starting 3 minuets apart

GH Team Challenge.
classes:
1.9 & 2.2
no motor or battery limit.

two drivers - two trucks per team.
both team trucks/drivers on the course @ the same time,
working together & timed as a team, to get through the course as fast as both trucks/drivers can for one lap.

winching, truck to truck - bump roll overs, bumping to get over a obstacle & towing/winching will be allowed.

Team time will stop when the last team truck crosses over the finish line.
if only one Team can finish there will be a +10 min penalty for that team

each team will get 2/3 attempts to try for there best single lap timed run.

with 2 min staggered starts in-between teams.

2.2 class rigs will start first, then 1.9 class rigs.

each team will be on there own clock.

the two teams 1.9/2.2 with the single fastest one lap time wins.

rules for both Adventure & Team challenge.

wanting to keep this part as simple as possible,
everyone will be on the racing honor system when running, but we will be watching !!

#1. rigs must stay within the boundaries at all times,
+1 min out of bounds penalty - per offence.

#2. No aggressive driving/grinding allowed,
+2 min aggressive driving penalty - per offence.

#3. one way on the course at all times, no backwards driving.
(IE; driving the Rig pointed the wrong way on the course)

#4. Roll Overs:
rolling back over by hand is not allowed,
must drive/wench or get bumped back over by another rig.
+5 min hand roll over penalty - per offence.

6. No changing to a different rig after the run starts.

allowed:
changing batteries, repairing rig, changing drivers,
these can be done - anytime - anywhere - off course only !!

the biggest thing we want to do is to keep it simple & fun !!

thx
KCRC
hope to see every one there !!

? - thoughts & Ideas welcome

east of raytown, no fee that i know of, if so Im sure it will not be much. The run time will be iffy, if you had a pack that would go 30 minuets you'd be ok for a lap, maybe 2. I run 3600 3s and I get well over an hour.

Re: Goat Hill Scale Challenge !

I would like to thank the DMG and everyone else for all the hard work out there. I was out on sunday and it looks like a million bucks! I don't get out to help of play as much as I would like to. I also would like to propose an offering for the owner of goat hill. Maybe a gift card some place nice. I would put in for sure. I am also looking for a 1.9 partner.

Just come out and have a good time. It's low key and no attitudes. Oh and welcome to the club. now you're a member :)

I'm thinking of just running the solo and shooting the tandem event.

or Justin me and you could team up, my 1.9 has a winch. Your boy isn't running?

Sign me up for 2.2 adventure.
