Default Class Rules?

So we have come out to a couple events now(and plan to continue to) and have the general idea about it. But I was wondering if you guys could break down the individual class rules for us newbs.

Like in 2.2 comp you can use dig but no 4ws..ect

And like to run scaler events does it have to be a certain amount of scale or can David and Steven run thier XR10's?

Stuff like that.

Thanks guys!

Comp rules - This link is found in the "Competitions and Events" section (under rules).

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/rules...012-rules.html

That is the recognized National rules, we do run locally though 6min/60points (4min/40pts is listed in there). And we allow bodiless rigs in sportsman/2.2s. Everything else is the same.

As far as Scale is concerned....we've always said "run what you brung" locally. Will that change, and we actually score it, hard to say.
The Goat Hill run is really our first venture into a scale "event" with any kind of scoring (time).

Thats about it.

running your comp rigs as a scaler,
its fine for the club GTG's.

but as for one of our true scale events (IE; GHC),
got to be a scale looking rig - IE (scale body & tires)
want to keep things real looking for the pic's

Plus as you will soon see - a comp rig dosent make for a good scaler

Thats what makes crawling in KC easier to get into than rc racing. Everybody in crawling wants to help you get started while in offroad racing nobody wants to give away any tips hardly or in some cases be friendly.

Thanks for clarifying guys! I am planning a scaler build but it will take a while. Until the this is the closest I have to a scale body..lol. After I get a truck chassis I will rework and fit the Rubicon body in the background to it.
