new england is a BIG place son plenty of room for more than one club... plus this really is'nt a "club" thing more of a come on down and run your junk...informal and hopefully fun plus if there are any newbies in the area that would like to come down and hang out and ask questions (or maybe answer some)

That's true, it is a big place, adn they're is more that one club (CTRCRC). I'm sorry if I offended, but I jsut think it would be better to have one club that covers the entire area, than 2 or 3 per state.

Wonderful, you should go check out whatever is going on here. I'll be working. There is no need to get into all the details again about more than 1 organization in 1 area. That got beat to death in a thread here when the ctrockcrawlers were getting started.

I'm not sure if I can make it. I might crawl locally or might be out of a car. I'll keep you posted.

Do you have any pics of the area?

I'm willing to bet that the name thing turns out to be no big deal. Missouri seems far enough away from Massachusetts that there shouldn't be too much confusion.

Plus, people lack originality all the time:

people want to crawl locally every week or every other week. we dont want to travel 2 - 3 hours every month to crawl. hince ct rock crawlers and CMRCRC. nercc is not a mass club, its a new england club, while you guys enjoy traveling all over, most of us like to crawl a little more locally, as stated in a previous thread about this, im sure most of these clubs will be more inclined to travel for a big competition.

as for the event, i may be able to attend, ill be up in north hampton mass anyway so i think i may be able to swing down for a hour or 2. that is unless i lose big at the casino.

Oh, come on now Matt. Some people actually do see what is going on here. This is hardly the place for it. So, are you coming to any NERCC crawls? Heck, I could meet you in Danbury again, I would like to have another try at that one rock that I had trouble with at that place.

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. What's going on here?

When I can, I will. I travel a lot for work, so it's not easy for me to go on road trips and give up a good part of my weekend. I personally rather crawl for three or four hours a few times a month than make one big trip once a month.

You and everyone else is more than welcome to come on out. I hit Tarrywile a lot since I pass by it on my way home from work. You might also like Lovers' Leap. Neither of these places is like Lincoln Woods, but they're fun and have plenty of challenging spots.

I think it's just a common courtesy NOT to use a pre existing clubs call letters.

That's just my opinion.

I share the same opinion. I think in this case, however it was clearly unintentional. I also think, in the grand scheme of things, that it's really not that big of a deal.

I'm sure it was done unitentionally.

Maybe CMRCC (Central Mass. RC Crawlers) or something similar could be substituted?
