Saturday - march 16 set-up/meeting @ 9.30 crawling starts @ 10.30 am sharp. please show up early for a quick club meeting & course set up !! to our new club members, long-view spillway has the highest traction of any place we crawl at. vary hard on your rig - be prepared to brake something & have some back up parts. we will be out there most of the day - so you may want to bring something to eat & drink. everyone welcome to join in !! & hope to see everyone there. thx KCRC |

| Re: KCRC 2013 Comp and Scale Season good comp today guys !! seen some new faces & some old ones - welcome everyone !! well have the results up ASAP now the BAD NEWS looks like we lost another crawling spot !! we were ran off from the spill way just as we were finishing up. the park rangers must have been new & trying to impress there bosses. we can no longer can use long-view lake spill way for any kind-a R/C car event !!! with out worry of getting a ticket or fine !! big bummer !! this will affect the comp crawling schedule as we had another comp scheduled there on Aug 24 - this event location will have to be changed. other than this we had good turn out for as cold as it was & would like to thank everyone who came out !! next club event - Goat Hill scale G2G saturday march 30th THX KCRC |

glad to see everybody today , shame it had to be ruined by an overzealous ,napolean complexed , over-compensating , badge wearing , i'm not having fun so no one else can either a-hole . we need to look at the rules and regs for the park , maybe we can get an on-road or drift race running out there in the paved parking lot ( wouldn't be a motorized vehicle off of a paved road or surface )

hey guess what i just found , there is a permit availible so we can run out there it is under rule or section number 5083 page 11 of the official rule book for jackson county parks that would put a thorn in there ass we would be out there running and they would try to stop us then we pull out the piece of paper stating that we could be there ............bye bye

well put you on that - now go sick em-mm i would be interesting in seeing on just what it would take to do that. i always knew it could happen there @ any time, just wasn't ready for it today - pissed me off !! we have had the same thing happen at JACAMO lake spill way a few years back, & should expect the same at any Jackson county park we run @ (IE: ADAIR PARK is a JCPR operated park) !! O-well, ez-come-ez go ! just going to have to find some more new crawling spots. | |

I'm thinking that the sequestration involves the Park rangers. Tink I saw something to that effect on the news. Those A--holes are just trying to justify their usefull / uslessnes by puffing up their chest and threatening a bunch of TAXPAYING good hearted folks just out to have a good time. Good job on the permit hunt Sam. It was however my shortest comp day ever. LOL
