Which location offers the most diverse terrain?
It'd be cool if there were rock, mud and hill sections.

Farm. It has more rock, more hills, more trails, more land, gravel, sand, mud (if wet), etc..

I'll have a newborn, I can't attend ECC this year. We decided the date back in December and there wasn't a conflict then. Luckily I don't have the feeders attached to me so I have some flexibility to host something in town.

Geez, I didn't hear that news! Congrats!

You will be missed at ECC. Wish I could make it to this event.

I haven't really announced it. It's not even facebook official yet I'm kinda waiting until it is in my hands, no telling what could happen.

Did you go brushed or brushless... let me tell you, those brushless babies are nice but man do you have your hands full.

Did I miss what kind of even this will be? Im guessing scale...

Yeah, scale GTG trail run. Another thread about it in the Missouri section.

It may be brushed, not sure. I'll have to test the terminal resistance at a few loads to see if brush saturation shows up, I'm not good enough to visually tell the difference yet.

So it's not going to be a scale comp with gates, just a run for fun.

There will be gates, but not USRCCA or SORCCA type. Just a laid back event with structured trails and extras like gravel pits, sled pull, hill climb, etc...

No restrictions on what you run, as long as you have a good time!

A good time to me is the competing part.

There will still be competing to finish the events, we just won't use judges and tennis balls. There are plenty of other ways to rank drivers without using a point based system.

Time is one way, so is a showNshine, tractor pull, and surprise bonuses. I'm not giving away the exact method of judging, its more fun that way

The biggest thing is just to finish. It takes careful driving to keep a rig together for miles of loop, or a bag full of replacement parts. People that try to just hammer through the courses for the best time will be very lucky to make it in one piece.
