2014 KCRC Scale/Trail/Comp Season

• April 5 - Goat Hill Opener Fun Run and Clean-up
• April 12 - St Louis RECON G6 - Boulevard Battle Grounds Track build/fix up & fun run day for those not doing the G6
• April 19 - Goat Hill 1.9 Trail Class Comp
• May 3 - Sportsman and Scale Comp #2 @Adair Park
• May 17 - Goat Hill Adventure Challenge
• June 7 - Goat Hill 2.2 Trail Class Comp
• June 28 - Sportsman and Scale Comp #3 @BC Creek
• July 19 - Goat Hill - Night of the Goats
• August 16 - Goat Hill "Trailer Trash" any-scale - Trailer Comp
• August 30 - Sportsman and Scale Comp #4 @Adair Park
• September 13 - Todds Trails 1.9 Scale comp/run
• September 27 - King of the Goats @ Goat Hill RCORP
• October 4 - Sportsman and Scale Comp#5 @BC Creek
• October 11 - Crawlapalooza
• October 25 - Goat Hill 1.9/2.2 Trail Class Comp
• November 1 - Event - TBA

Remind me again the format for Sportsman and Scale Comp 1-4 Days.

Is it sporty/1.9 scale/2.2 scale classes all the same day, on comp style course(s)?

Based on the club meeting that seemed to be general consensus.

One thing that does concern me though.......is location burn out.

Please don't get me wrong, I love GH as much as the next guy.....but with seemingly every event being there this year, I see the potential of getting bored with it. just my spare change...

All the comps will be at another location for sure, and I think we could easily move an event to some place like BC Creek. I have the same location concerns.

yes i agree !
some of the events scheduled for Goat Hill will be changed to a different aera !

if these are the dates will be working with.
then we need to know what dates/areas to re locate to,

this schedule is just to set up the dates & generally the spot/area will be at,
but

BC Creek - Todd Trails & others - are some areas that we will all-so be using this year.

we will work what dates for BC Creek & Todd's Trails events

it will take at least 3 rigs showing up to make any class official !
so if theres 3 - 2.2 pro class rigs that show up to comp crawl,
then there will be a class for them.

We will also let people run their 2.2P rigs on the sportsman courses if there are not enough rigs for a class.

Do all of these events typically start at the same time? Also, everything not labeled as being at GH will be elsewhere around town, correct? And finally, are the rules in the link posted in the Trail Comp Class Thread the same rules for all these events? I've read them over but there's no mention of sportsman/scale comp just 2.2 and 1.9 and super. Can someone point me to where I need to read up on how all these rules and classes interact with each other?

I have a mildly modded Wraith w/ 2.2 and would love get out and run it for fun, but I'm not sure where it belongs. I know the 2.2 and 1.9 refer to the size of the wheel and I know i'm running 2.2 wheels, but after that it gets foggy.

j your wraith would be in the 2.2 scale class or trail class , you would run in the scale comp the trail comps and goat hill runs

Don't get overwhelmed by the official USRCCA rules. We are really laid back here. Bring your rig and come have fun, you'll catch on quickly.
