KCRC Season Opener ALERT !!
Looks like the weather may not be to good for crawling tomorrow guys !
if we get any heavy rain before 10.30am tomorrow
there will be no way we can crawl at Watts Mill Park
that place floods when theres just a little rain (were crawling in a creek bed) & theres NO where to crawl there during high flood waters !!
we will just have to wait & see what its doing tomorrow morning
well see - rain rain go away !

Trail clean up day !

Awards will be given for "Best in Show"
1.9 & 2.2 class crawlers/scalers

A day to show off your new rig's you been building,
& have some fun crawling,
help us clean up the G Hill's trails for the year - please !

Gates will open at 10.00am "NO SONNER PLEASE"

This a free event & everyone welcome join in the fun !
Bring your self some thing to drink & eat.
the fire pit will B burning.

Rakes - Leaf blowers & help will be welcomed !

Gonna try making it to Goat Hill Saturday. If either my servo gear from eBay or new servo from Tower show up at post office by Saturday morning I'll also bring a friend with me and let him drive my AX. If not it will just be me, Wart (my wraith), and a leaf rake.

Had an awesome time today. My only casualty was a stripped out servo arm so id call it a good day. Lots of nice trucks out there. Anybody have any pics of the Wraith with green rtr panels on swamper xl and proline beadlocks? Preferably not on its lid lol

KCRC Group Trail Run Comp
Saturday 4/16 - @ Swop Park MB Trails
on Oldham RD KC,MO

Meeting up at the trail head between 10.30am & drivers meeting @11.00am
~
This will be a Long "comp style" Trail run (3 to 4 miles)
with courses placed throughout & along the trail run,
3 to 4 gates per courses - 3 courses total - 1.9 & 2.2 classes.
~
Will we all start together - so please be on time for the drivers meeting.
~
"BE PREPARED"
this will be a 4 to 5+ hour event !
with no short cuts back to the parking lot.
~
"Highly Recommended"
1 good walking shoes
2 back pack
3 extra batteries - charged !
4 extra parts for your rig
5 something to drink & snack on (Lunch)
~
Please ware "BRIGHT & VISIBLE" clothing,
there will be mountain bike traffic on the trails,
& we need to be seen by them wile on the trails.
~
It may be a good idea to meet up at the DmG's before,
& a few of us car pool down to help save parking spaces.

Im not gonna make it im headed to Emporia for an 8.8 for a fox body Saturday but I'll make it back to goat hill meet. I'd wheel with you guys anytime I can.

BRP is having another trail work day coming up this Saturday 4/23 !
at 9.00 and they will be working on a trail down in the blue river parkway trails (Blue ridge blvd & Blue river road)

was wondering if there any interest KCRC/SRCBKC in helping them out saturday ?
do a little trail work & then a little trail running afterwards !
think i may go down & see whats going on & help out some.

if your interested - please post up !

Rocky terrain or just dirt trails? I had thought about going out to rock quarry Saturday since my creek bottom is full of water but crawling with others is more fun. Im just not into mud and water.

Who all is going to Rc4wd scale challenge Disney? I know I'm going John Nichols and Sam Reynolds. Got a boat load of tickets left. Super time. Rocks are awesome and 4 hours away from Kc. Can't let the 3 amigo's have all the fun. Lol.
