Hey Dez, I dont think thats going to crawl too well.

Got the Berg working today. Took me 20 minutes to finish the wiring. The rest of the day has been wasted on radio adjustments. What a PITA. Got everything going smooth in forward motion but cant get the front axle to engage at the same time as the rear in reverse with the channels in master/slave operation.

Crawler is my screen name on another board (go fast) so I thought I would use that as my "sponcer" on my racer.

I thought an MRC was a cheap crawler........until I set out to fix all of the weak links. All mine needs now is a better chassis, four links and some better tires.

On a good note the Berg is running the way it should. Guess the settings I saved from the front ESC didnt take when I uploaded them to the rear ESC including the low voltage cut off. OOPS! Ran the lipo down to 2.73 volts per cell. Seems ok though.

Not yet, waiting on electronics. I might throw the Sidewinder and 4600 motor in it for some testing.

Both sound like good investments, I will be interested to see what you think of the new overdrive front end. I would have loved that option when I was running a shafty.

I am getting started building a new rock course at my house..I have a thread posted in the General crawlers section...
Jeepial presents,660 Crawlers testing grounds rock course!!!
Not sure how it will turn out,but I want to be able to hold some comps on it for 2.2 and some 1.9's for sure.I also am gonna make it so the layout can be changed easily.I will keep posting progress pics and updates on the thread, and if anyone wants to come down and do some crawlin or lend a hand feel free..

I think Axial suggest not using the underdrive and overdrive gears at the same time, too much difference in gearing I believe.

1/8th buggy wheels on the slash? Ive heard the 1/8 buggy badlands dont hold up well. But theres a guy on ebay selling knock off premounted versions that wont come apart like the real ones do and they last forever. Not to mention cheaper, $17 a pair I think.

they are close in diamiter to stock tires ( just a tad bigger) & i was thinking of going with a baja bug body when i do was gonna put 30 series badlands on Back & 1/8 in front would look better
