Had a great time at the Shop Day and learned lots. Thanks to Ron (cyberhog) and Ben for helping get my Axial a little closer to "dialed". At least now I know where the dials ARE, I just have to figure out which way is "in".

And no matter how hard I try...Ben is determined I'm going on a scavenger hunt

3 hours 10 minutes back to Billings.

Thanks guys,

Scottrik

Sounds like fun but I'll have to pass Ben. 1400 mile the drive is just a little to far. But thanks anyway...

Thanks for driving all the way over, won't be your last trip.

I will get you on the scale hunt sooner than you think.

Was great to meet you and look forward to crawling very soon with you guys.

Ben~
Thanks for the invite and the hospitality!
Had a great time and can't wait to get my project started next month.
I am just going to start out with an Axial RTR to get in the swing of things especially since Aaron says they aren't that great and that people that buy them just do so because they can't build their own stuff! I am always up for a challenge! Equipment can't make up for skill!
Looking forward to the comp in May. We'll be there for sure!

Thanks again guys!

Cyberhog05 is Jarred by the way.
Jarred had a good idea, we should all have tshirts made with our screen names on them so at meets like this everyone will know who's who! They could have our screen name with our real name under it maybe?

Hey that cyberhog guy is smart...Oh wait...Thats me! Also Sneaky and I get discounts on shirts so if you are interested we can have them done and mail them or bring them in may. It should cost around 8-10 bucks per shirt. Plus shipping if needed and depending on size and number of letters. If there is an interest I will get The cost figured out.

Scottrik,

Is there any RC forum you don't hang out in?

We've got 4 Crawlers built. Working on 3 others 2 of which are supers. I TIG'd up an aluminum cage for my Scorpion this weekend that didn't turn out all that bad for a first shot at it. Interesting to see Montana people (this many) haning out in a forum. Normally I see a lot of myself and Scottrik... ...lol...

There's nothing wrong with RTR's if you want to make sure you're gonna like crawling or anything else before you dump bucks and time into something more. That's what I did, got and AX-10 RTR and enjoyed it so much that I'm getting more into crawling by building a tuber and a 1.9 scaler
