Well I was hoping some of the other guys would post up there paint projects here. But I guess since there's only a handful in MT no one else is doing any at the moment.

That's too bad Matt. You could possibly use the Parma water based paints and paint inside. You can get a big box and make you a spray booth and if you have a load air compressor just get a long hose. Since my garage is so full of junk I have a corner dedicated to my painting. I lined the wall with a tarp and have a nice, toasty heater to keep me warm and help dry the paint. |

We have a spare bedroom that I was using at one time for building and painting (and reloading), but since last Christmas, it's become more of a storage room.... I can't hardly see my workbench anymore I have tried using water based paint in the past, but never really had much luck |

That urban camo is bad ass. Might like to have that done, just haven't decided what body I like... I thought the new axial but I saw one at Northland and I didn't really like how small they are. Saw the Losi body too and it's a li'l bigger but just not sure. I really liked my original Tmaxx body on my AX but it was weak where the fuel tank and cyl. head holes were, and eventually broke off the rear. To order one (painted or unpainted) it comes pre punched so thats kinda pointless... the shape is good tho... nice and rounded, and doesn't look too bad mounted low and cut up. Wonder if the emaxx body is similiar without the holes. Hmm have to go check on that. Anyway, Nice work is what I was trying to say. Later Jeff |

Hey thanks Jeff, I appreciate it. I'm painting a bug body with the urban camo now. I'd take a look at the e-maxx body if you're wanting something that big. I've also seen the Pro-line full size C-10 mounted up and it looked good as well. We're gonna try to head out to Lone Pine tomorrow about 5:30 or so as long as the weather is good. |

Just asked the wife and got the go ahead on Lone Pine, so I should see you up there. Looked at the emaxx body... it would work but looks alot like a ford, I'll figure something out... you'll see the tmaxx body tomorrow, it's not really as big as you might think... even if the whole thing was there. Grant and Briggs going too? |

We missed you today Matt, wish you could have made it. I had so much fun painting the urban camo'd Grappler I just had to do another one. This time I went for a bug body... and it's even got tinted windows. |
