Wont be making this one either. We have a comp on the 22nd in Kalispell and can't afford to do both. Would have been nice to have a 2 day comp indoors in Kalispell like I mentioned to you.....

Patrick & I (and a few others) scouted an area about 1/2 way between Manhattan & Belgrade - some pretty neat lines & some pretty technical ones. When the county put in a new bridge last year - they used large rubble on all four sides of the bridge.

I will post up later where to meet - either in Manhattan or Belgrade & follow us to the site - kinda hard to find.

Let's just hope good ole Mother nature is kind enough to provide us with some decent weather.

Hey Squatch - you're welcome to come & join the fun - this comp is for 2.2 & maybe 1.9 comp rigs only - you need to come to the "Scale Nationals" in Helena May 14,15,16 - lots of fun & is all scalers w/ a comp for 2.2's & 1.9's on Sunday - for more info get ahold of Unimoger (Ben Palmer)

Yawzer...would love to come to Helena and watch/drive...but those three days I have bids going out and meetings finishing up projects...and then I leave for 2 weeks going east...Now if the scale nats could be early next year...say first of May, not around the 18th at all...that would be great. Wedding Anniversary is the 18th..

going to Bozeman this weekend though...might grab the rig and bash for a couple of hours.....I hope.

Default Comp info - final

OK boys & girls - we are going to meet at the Conoco station just off the interstate in Beautiful Manhattan, MT- just look to your left coming into Manhattan

Time: 8:45 AM Saturday 21st
We will leave there at 9:00 and head to the comp site.
I've heard rumors that several people are also bringing their fast cars & will be heading to the BMX track in Bozeman for a little more fun & you should plan a visit to the new Rocky Mountain Hobby store - Patrick says they should get a bunch of crawler stuff in stock by then - so bring lot's of $$$$$$$$.

See you all at the Conoco

Ron

Had fun today, played in the rocks, got some sun, checked out the hobby shop picked up some parts for the slash. got to tun the slash and 5t up and down the road and in the parking lot at the hobby shop.

BTW certain employees don't like me running the baja in the parking lot Apparently its too much truck for the lot Oh well!

Had fun regardless

Hey Mike!
Ya I need to talk to the boss about getting more people hired on for the weekends. Just looking at the sales it was never that busy with the prior owner(x-mas included). So I'll be doing a few weekends to help out! I think this new shop is going to do better now that there is finacial backing! I'm so glad the new owner took this on as a pet project just so this town has a hobby shop. He will be working in the shop probably Wed or Thurs.
