Default Comp / gtg at norris, mt 8/29/09

We will be having an informal comp / gtg at the newly found "Montana Moab #2" site on Saturday, August 29th - This will be fun.

We will meet at the gas station (I think its a Conoco - the only one in Norris) at 9:00 AM, Saturday morning and follow me to the site - Tech will be at 9:30 followed by a comp at around 10:00 - depending how many people show up will determine how many courses we set up, or just do the usual 3 or 4 courses & a finals course for the top 5 and then play the rest of the day.

Please sign up here so I will know how many are coming - plan to bring a lunch or we could all run down to the Norris bar for a burger. I will provide a cooler full of water for everyone. This location is "out in the sticks" so bring what you need for the day.

Hope to see everyone there - this is an outstanding place for crawling

Ron

I am in like a dirty shirt for this one! Burrlytlt from ORCRC will be at my house that weekend, so he is in as well. I talked to him on the phone today, he is bringing his 2.2 comp rig and his scaler.

here are pics of said site for those who want to see.

Just a thought, we could make it a "dash for cash" $5 or $10 to enter, 4 courses, winner take all
I could use the extra cash

I think thats a great idea Matt - but you're just a little off in your prediction - I plan on takin home the cash!!!!!

How's $10 entry - divided among the top 3 - winner gets the most - I will also talk to Reese at the hobby store about some sponsorship & prizes.

We might as well make worth the effort

Someone should get in touch with the Billings crew, it's only about 2.5 hrs or so over to Norris. Hopefully the Butte guys are going to show up for this one.

What do you want Mike? I have all the axial crawlers, the venom creeper, the Losi 10th scale comp crawler, and I can get the berg or anything else if my distributers carry it. Its a 2 day turn around for it to be here once I order. I have a number of motor/esc set ups in stock. Plus you'll have the full warranty and tech service. Just let me know and you'll get it.
