Default Updated pics. Cody's scalers

Been on the board for awhile now but don't post much. Here is my CR-01 I got off of Nova's Ark. Only mod is 4WS which helps drastically.

Yes it should be fun. I'm building a course at my house as well. I really need to dump some money into my Slash, the poor thing is about trashed. The crawlers are cool though because of the run times. I went and checked the hobbyshop in the westgate mall today and all I can say is wow. You know how you see someone pulling a super tiny trailer down the road and you are like WTF is the point, well this hobbyshop is like that. I really hope it changes, gets bigger, better, something. I think it could really catch on around here with some changes. I remember how much business the hobbyshop got in Minot when I had a T-maxx with a .21 motor. I can't even keep track of how many glowplugs, bulkheads, fuel, etc. just because it was there. Sure online is cheaper but if you want to get going now and someone local has it they are going to get your money.

I told you the shop only had a couple of things in it..he is just starting...and totaly understand what your saying, there was a shop here on 10th when I first moved here. He was like 80 percent trains and the rest RC..didn't have all the parts but what cars he carried he had all those parts..so was cool...then it closed one day and now is a tatoo shop...

Helena would be cool, want to make it down there and check out MSD.

I was down there about 2 years ago and all they had was a hobbytown that carried pretty much nothing, it really sucked. If you want we could run down there on one of there shop days. We could split the gas money in my Metro or S-10.

That would be cool...but like I said Big87 and I are well over 6' and both are pushin 300...Metros and I don't mix...

I guess Metalhead said that he knows of a spot near belt that is pretty cool, don't know if that to far of a drive for you...you could meet at our house and put all your stuff in Big78's truck and ride with us...then go to the track and run our slashes...

I'm junna call Metalhead here in a bit and find out the goods and then let you know.

That rig is dirty! Does the angle on the springs make a lot of difference? I assume you got your rear steering fixed?

Yes its like a totally different rig on handling. I lost some and gained some, but what I gained is more important to me than what I lost. I did fix the 4WS. Since i'm going to be running with you guys I figured my rig should be setup somewhat more like your guys'.

No those are just related images on hosting site. My wife is showing some interest in getting into crawling while we go camping and stuff so I may have to complete the Semi project and trade/sell for another crawler or two. Business is getting slow so I'd like to get a CC-01 Wrangler and like $250. I've been looking at the SCX 10 Axail and I like what I see. You guys can go ahead and hit me up next weekend and come out for a beer and some crawling at my place. I've been looking around there is alot of crawling spots out here, not to mention I'm building a spot at the house. Anyway you guys have fun on your trip. We can't go on ours now because the wife has to go thru an interview for a new job Friday.

so...we could have a powder puff crawler...my wife has one...big78's wife is showing interest..yours...MAYBE Metalheads.....that's 4......

tell her good luck from us on the interview...

Ask Metalhead about the SCX10, he has one...talk to him about his creeper as well...I would take your axles and just find a different chassis for it...yours is a very capable crawler....just needs some fine tuning.
