MTRCRC Series Finale ~~ June 12

5 miles off Hwy 12 up Rimini Road. I've never been there, but Ben says you can't miss it.

Driver's meeting / set up courses / tech at 9:00 and the comp starts at 10:00

I might not be able to make this one. We have some things going on that weekend and I've been busier than shit at work. Here's the standings after the last comp in case I can't make it over.

FVRCRC has a comp on the 13th and the crawl-off is the 19th. AWCC is the following weekend. Not many options for rescheduling.

If there isn't going to be Saturday comps anymore I won't need one of the XR10's that is coming. I'm not going to lose $250 or more out of my pocket to drive R/C cars on a Sunday.

So how is this dilemma going to play out? One person can't run Saturday comps because of work and one person can't run Sunday comps because of work. Work, family, etc. always comes first, but something should be worked out for this comp.....

My thoughts are...........

Marty, Jim and Jeff E have a FVRCRC comp on the 13th. The crawl-off has already been scheduled for Saturday the 19th with people having already made plans for that day off. Marty has the AWCC the weekend following the crawl-off so if the comp can't be held on the 12th as originally scheduled then about the only option is to cancel it and just run the crawl-off on the 19th. As I said in the other comp thread, more than likely I won't be able to make it on the 12th anyways. Too much going on and not enough time to do it. So I guess whatever works for those that are going to participate in the comp is what should be done.

As far as the Saturday-Sunday stuff is concerned, Ben now has a business to run and I'd never dream of asking anyone to close up shop or be shorthanded on a Saturday just so I can compete in a comp. I don't expect anyone to go out of their way so that I can crawl on Saturdays. If I can make a comp, that's fine, but I'm not going to ask for days off so I can participate in a hobby.

If the 6-12 comp is canceled, has MTRCRC held enough comps (minus the 6-12 comp) this season to be able to be involved in the crawl off? I guess that's what I was getting at....
Maybe have 2 separate comps at the same location on 6-13? I don't know.... just throwing out ideas.

I don't expect anybody to close shop or miss work for a comp either

I'm not sure what the rules are, but there have been 6 comps for this series.

I probly won't make it the 12th either. I will be over in Helena the 6th to drop Morgan off, I have our comp the 13th, the crawl off on the 19th. so I don't see myself driving over 3 weekends in a row, you're talkin 400 bucks in gas. All of this in the midst of moving, framing , and landscaping.
