Default Hobby Garage Crawler Course

Went over to Helena on Saturday and helped move some of the rocks around. We built a couple courses that are more scale specific, including a dry riverbed type of run that starts on one end, runs through a canyon and a couple tunnels all the way to the other side. There are plenty of comp lines that are fun and challenging, too. I only took two pics of a crawler just to show the size of the rocks. When we got done moving rocks I was driving and forgot to take pics.

Where Jack is standing is the beginning (or the end) of the canyon. Took the pic when we first started on it.

The start of the canyon when we were finished. It looked plenty challenging for a 1.9 scaler.

Coming out of one of the tunnels on the canyon run.

I'm going over on Saturday the 28th. If my wife doesn't want to go you're more than welcome to ride with me. Won't cost you a thing since I'm going anyways. I'll pm my number to you later.

The Hobby Garage is the place to be FOR SURE!!!!!! Lots of fun, lots of parts, and very relaxing to hang out. The Rocks out front is a definite landmark in Helena now. Cant help but see them as you are driving down the road. Tons of lines for all type of rigs scale or comp. Hope to see some more people come down and check the place out. The more the merrier huh? Well hope to see some of you on the rocks soon

Brad,

we are gonna have to have the crawl day on the 21st. R/C Float fly day is the 28-29th.

Crawl day will be 2.2, 1.9 and scale if there are enough rigs, everybody throw $5 in the hat and winner takes all.

We will have the HG BBQ fired up with dogs and burgers and we have pepsi fountain sodas as well.

CYA ALL there!

Squatch the address is 2611 N. Montana Ave. You should try and make it on the 21st. It's gonna be a good time.

Congrats on the new job. As of now my wife is going over with me but I'll let you know if anything changes between now and the 21st. As I said, you're more than welcome to ride with me if she stays home.

Camping? What could beat a day of crawlin' and grillin'? Hopefully you and the GF crew can make the trip. It's going to be a good time.

Thanks Brad, At this point I have to finish a painting job after hours from my new job. So not sure if I will be doing that or have it done by the 21st. If I do have it done I'm going to see about driving over.

Ben has a great set-up. Rock pile out front, there is going to be a short course track on the backside of the building. The selection of parts available for cars, planes and helicopters is unlike any I've seen before. There is a lounge area with magazines and a flatscreen on the wall. For me the coolest part is the Pepsi fountain, nothing like getting jacked up on Mtn Dew while crawling out front. It's a two hour drive for me, but I have a blast every time I go over there.
