Been out of scale over the winter since I was involved in snow racing but easter sunday I dug my yota out and meat up with a few friends to hit a trail. We hiked around the Rattlesnake trail head area and must say that it was the funnest thing I've done in along time. Nice mix of everything up there from crawling to trail riding and on top of that its just a pretty area.. Now I'm hooked and can't wait for next weekend to do it again. Got some vid of Brian running his truck down the creek that I will get up as soon as I can if it turned out..lol Just wanted to share with you Montana guys.. |

sounds awesome. I was up the Rattlesnake on Easter visiting some friends. Beautiful area. I haven't been to the trailhead though I bet it's even cooler. Get that vid up already.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTUwoIj32jY It's all the way up, at the end of the rattlesnake road here in Missoula. Lots of different areas to hike, bike, walk or crawl.

my wife's friend will be subletting up there this summer so I'm sure we'll be up every once in a while to see her. I'll have to check out the trailhead and other areas.

| The rattlesnake is the road that goes from the foot bridge all the way up the mountain. I believe its the Van Buren exit of I90 that puts you right on the Rattlesnake. Then just fallow that up to the top and you will find some trails on the left.

Is it good scale-type stuff or would it be good for comp crawlers, too? I haven't been up that way in a while. I was going to check it out today, but I went out to Alberton for about 3 hours.

Brad, it seems to be good for everything really. As we walk and hike we come across lots of different areas to play. Right now with the creek so high we cant get down into the creek bottoms and along the rocker areas but once it goes down its going to be alot different. The nice thing is that Brian lives right there and starting this next sunday we are going to be building a race track, scale course and a rock garden. Makes it nice having all that at a house with power and all the tools you may need. Plus theres a huge hill climb right there aswell.. If it works out I'm hoping that he will have a huge GTG.. |

Sounds awesome TAT. Good luck on the courses. I'll make sure to let you know when we'll be heading up there.
