Has anybody tried crawling around the rims in billings? specifically the rocks by the stairs behind MSU? still building my first rig and i think thats where im going for the maiden run.

That does look like a good spot. How long does it take to get there. I havn't touched anything RC in over a week. Been having some problems with my grandpa. Its a sad long story but to sum it up we're having to put him the Veteran's home in C-falls.

I'm guessing 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. 11 miles of decent maintained gravel road plus around 5-8? paved from Kila. It was a seat of the pants scouting mission along with another errand in the area. Nice little camping area for a gravel pit. Skeeters and bee's were trying to take us away though.

I wonder how the National Park Service would feel about us crawling in Glacier park.

Took a drive up logan pass this weekend and saw some place that would be great for crawling.

I don't think I'd be very interested in Glacier Park..... Too much tourist traffic for me
