Little update on the front cage. Worked out good for not measuring much of anything. Good ol' eye ball measurements. Who has time to measure? Ill be adding a metal grill to it later. Already have it fabbed up just need to weld it to the cage. Rear cage/bed will follow. Might add a lower bar beneath the doors, just above the fenders.. No soup for you! Nother update. Rear bed area will bolt/unbolt and have panels. Top is a little narrower than the base of the flatbed. So the panels will lean towards the top. Just hastily tacked together for tonight. 3/16" supports are next. Battery box just clears. I think this is the never-ending build thread. Already at 135 pictures.

| thanks. thanks X2 Yeah, I really wanted the rear "panel" look. I added the last two vertical supports a little bit ago and finished welding the cage together. Only got to work about an hour. I will grind it all down tomorrow and then add 3/16'' supports throughout the cage. And mount tabs for the panels. |

| Bring some VHS tapes to ECC, we'll watch em. Rear cage kinda done. Bolts to frame. I am getting a lil better at flux wire welding, not much better though. Lots of time spent with the dremel. Not sure what I am going to do next. Panel it out or some 3/4 panels or something. I know I will be driving the crap out of it this weekend. Swapped to some firmer shocks up front. I bet it weighs at least 12lbs now. The 75T on 3S gets it goin' though. Sprayed the cab yellow for now. |

Thanks for the pictures Ricky. Your quick. Still deciding on what to do to finish out the rear cage area. Panels or 3/4 panels or no panels and remove some tube work. It weighs right at 15lbs. Just put it's fat butt on the scale. This rig is a little top heavy but will take on most uphill climbs if i can get the front wheels on the grade. It really suprises me what it can do. It took a 3 foot drop off a rock ledge right onto a rock slab. (thanks to Manning for pushing it over the edge with the XR10 ) Nothing hurt at all. I did leave some yellow and black paint out on the rocks today though. a 4S may be in the future for the ol 75t . Last edited by Szczerba; 03-26-2011 at 08:09 PM. |

nice drop test mike!! you could throw some canvas cloth over the rear tube work.. or you already have a good cage to protect an onboard camera.. |

sold/bartered/traded to Nova's Ark! I lost my mojo for the build and Eddie was ready to swoop it up. He's got some good ideas for it. Keep an eye out for a revised edition in the future. It' was definitly a fun build. |

We love this rig Shane!!! My kids have already drained the 3S 5000Mah battery completely dead three times this week. That is hours of drive time considering it has a 75turn motor in it. I reprogrammed the Hitec servos, the CC BEC and the Mamba Max. The Mamba Max had version 1.09 software on it. It now has the 3.30.3 firmware on it and the drag brake is amazing now. We definitely have some big plans for this truck. This is the second scaler we have bought from you. Let me know when you need a new home for your next scaler
