Real Scale 6x6 This has been in the works for over a year and a half, started as a 6x6 drifter but who am I kidding, I'm a crawler at heart! It's mostly a stock looking Tamiya 1/14 semi but there are many subtle changes and modifications that make it work surprisingly well. I'm tired of seeing all the out of proportion 6x6 projects with monster tires and hacked bodies, thought I'd add something fresh to the mix. It was a mad thrash to get it together for Montana but it was worth it, almost didn't bring it but I'm glad I did. Still alot to do before I call it done. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/pictu...ictureid=22372 http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/pictu...ictureid=22373 http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/pictu...ictureid=22374 |

SOLD...but you knew that when you handed me the controller in Marysville. I have a couple cool pics, I will get around to adding here for you. Slick rig, once again Dean. Keep up the good work. "thumbsup" |
Cool rig. Here's my King Hauler/High Lift 6x6. It's much more in proportion than my 6x6 honcho. I got it off a buddy. Not sure who built it. I was just getting ready to start a thread on it to get some suggestions on what else to do with it. http://i583.photobucket.com/albums/s...s/be7c3d15.jpg |
Thanks guys, glad you like it! Tommy, thanks for the additional pics."thumbsup" Quote:

Loved watching this rig all weekend dean, and I think there was no shortage of cameras and flashes snapping pics of it. I am sure someone else will have more photos. "thumbsup" Never get tired of watching you build and create and glad you brought it, it was a hit for sure. "thumbsup" |

Here you go, kinda crappy but... http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/pictu...ictureid=22386 http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/pictu...ictureid=22385 There is a winch on this thing, need to make a fairlead and get it all working. Still alot to do on it, I want to make a modular bed set up with different attachments (crane, dump bed, 5th wheel, etc.). |
Here is all I got. However I did get to drive it also. Here is Bender giving it a wheel. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/IMG_0029.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/IMG_0026.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/IMG_0028.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/IMG_0027.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...s/IMG_0018.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...IMG_0019-1.jpg And the man behind the madness...Chino63 http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...IMG_0023-2.jpg |
In the middle of a low altitude ninja kick even. Good action shot. "thumbsup" |

I snapped a couple images. Taking pictures was hard to do when I had my eyes locked onto this rig. I was mesmerized when watching it, I think a lot of folks were. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5025/...c1ddedc5_z.jpg http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5067/...1fa99d8d_z.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2474/...71d52489_z.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3184/...81c0826f_z.jpg |
WOW:shock: that is the perfect looking rig!"thumbsup" |
Thanks for all the pics and comments! Hopefully I can get back to this soon. |
Dean, you're basically forcing me to make a multi-axle rig!! :ror: |
Gotta say, one of the cleanest 6x6's I've seen on here. |
