I was like what if i get one of these. I like the look of the harder to find Full cab wrecker; This is a 1979 model. Now how am i going to drive it with out draining the bank account? Went to a local rc swap meet and scored one of these for real cheap. Even came with a extra set of axles. I ripped apart both trucks and started a moch up to see how things would look. Do i go with 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8? Decided to go 6x6x? (not sure if im going x6 or x4) What do you guys think about tire size. I have 1.9 on there now which look more scale (less ground clearance) or i can do 2.2 but will have to watch scrubbing on body without lifting body higher. The clod wheels are just ridiculously huge so no go there. |

it's a nice body ,it;s hard to tell by the pics but the axles might be way too wide maybe some tlt's would fit better.if the axles are too wide i would put the clod back together and sell it you might make a good buck on it and get going on the wrecker. |

I wanted to post to see what people thought, Yeah i was worried that it might just look to silly as they are to wide. I might still do a 6x6 (possibly super comp style) but put the wrecker body away till i find some shorter axles or widen the body to fit. Will See what others have to say. | |
