I'm def doing a cage on mine, these big square cabs look great with some tubeing following the contours. Gives it a serious attitude IMO. Your build is looking nice, keep up the good work ! "thumbsup" |
Re: Introducing: Big Baby..... Work in steady progress I have been so busy being family man 17Dean this last week or so , that I have not been able to get some time in working on my EXO cage for Big Baby ! Fnally got some time to get my work on and finally pull the trigger. Please keep in mind I am no welder or brazer . This is my first cage as well as my 3rd project worked with brass and brazing. I have some tings in store for all the scale junkies like myself with the ultra splash of creation and imagination. Before the pics , I want to give a shout out to all you guys that have been coaching me from far Dont Slow Down , the Ghetto Rig and Bondonutz! Now pics!!!!!! http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1338309010 http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1338309038 http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1338309062 http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1338309100 http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...y/SANY0343.jpg http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1338309208 Like I said ...work in steady progress. Re: Introducing: Big Baby..... Work in steady progress Thanks bud!! If you must know , I used the masking tape as my plans and will make adjustments as I go. Numbered them up and cut, grind, sand, flux then solder. I have a game to go to today but is trying desperately to stay home and get back to work. |

Re: Introducing: Big Baby..... Work in steady progress Looking good man! Those joints are looking better! It's hard to get a lot of heat into a part that has multiple things attached to it. |
Re: Introducing: Big Baby..... Work in steady progress Thanks Dont Slow Down.... I cant stop brazing!!!! Anyways...This morning after dropping the lil one off to day care I decided it was a good day for wake and bake and drive while listening to my morning jam. Any how , red and blue lights hit me when I am a block from my home smelling like a pound! Got a dumb ticket and came inside and banged it out in the lab! Was so ultra disgusted I needed to put some much needed work in. And this is the result from my early day!..... http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1339101403 This is the front windshield guards and its mounting piece. http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1339101458 I bet you will never guess what this will be in a few!!!! http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1339101486 Driver side with rail ladder.. http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1339101499 Front mock up view.. http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1339101527 Passenger side rail ladder done. http://i1084.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1339101551 Passenger up close view. I am a noobie with brazing , but learning more and more everyday! |
