| halfcab's Recon G6x6
Not much for build threads but I will post some updates from time to time it has already been tested on a short g stage and plain works awesome. Needs paint and some scale goodies. Its 21.5 inches long total length with a 17 in. wheel base. Tamia Bullhead body hacked off at the rear of the cab, stretched scx10 chassis, aluminum flatbed with stock Bullhead rollbar, 35t/3s/servo winch/fxr/cac's, pitbulls Last edited by halfcab; 02-28-2013 at 10:05 PM. |

A few more, there have been a few minor changes so far, changed out the green 30* links for some r2j stainless links and re mounted the bed and made better rear cab mounts. Open to ideas for a color scheme |

Looks good Todd, I've got a Bullhead cab awaiting crawler status as well. What color you going with? Needs some scale detail... |

Olive drab would work, if you dig a military theme. I like big rigs in black with lots of chrome/polished aluminum but that seems out of place on a crawler.

Old school flat orange is my vote Mr. Singer. I cannot believe you have created a build thread. I am pleased that you did. The offer always stands for whatever metal work you need.

What a load of crap! Straight up copied me! . . . . . . . Just kidding bro, looks good! When you gonna let me see it in person?! I knew you'd get around to actually building one if I didn't let you buy mines! I wanna see a close up of your rear axle link mounts, I may have to update mines. |

Very nice... been looking to piece together a 6x6 myself, and your build provided a nice view of the rear swing arm and drive shaft setup... thanks for the pics!
