Great work man! Be careful with the Plastruct and similar agents. If it pools up in a spot that you cant see or forget about it will melt the styrene and deform the immediate area around it. But by far, you've definitely got this one nailed.

Noted. I have been spreading out the PlasticWeld and not letting it settle.

I'll probably start on the rough interior this evening. I didn't think I wouold be saying this but working with styrene is turning out to be kinda fun.

A couple more interior details to go.

........................

What about a color for the exterior? The military drab color them is cool but I was thinking about making this a converted-to civilian tow rig with a race rig theme?

You should look at large tow rigs for race cars. I am not a "red" guy, but big rigs look good in some type of crazy dark red.

I think the trick is to keep it simple. A two tone, maybe a pin stripe to break it up. Whatever color you pick.

It will be probably one color with Sponsor stickers if i go that "racing theme" route.

I meant 12"x36".

1 of the 3 sheets looked like they were ran an over by a truck but some soap and water cleaned it up. Read the reviews, I wasn't the only one. I would/will order more.

HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) Sheet, Opaque White, 0.06" Thickness, 12" Width, 24" Length (Pack of 1): Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Coming along quick. I need to get back on mine. I picked up a tamiya humvee that will be the load on the flat bed of my hemtt. I'm building mine as if it were being used in a post apocalyptic world so I have an excuse for it not being exactly scale. Won't be able to tell until I get it to the point details like that would be being added though.

Thanks maxx. What are you building?

Air and fuel supply beginnings.
2" couplers and 1/2" ends glued end to end.

Creeping along on interior.

You look like a pro at this scratch building stuff for this to be the first one. Really think you should go the race team route.
