I sure do know that. That is why I got so many duals. I may go with a 3-4 straight axle setup but that would not be ideal for turning a large trailer. I just need to to figure out the swivel setup for the bogie axles. I'll probably modify a chair caster or something.

Man that's awesome progress! The first picture I opened.... had it been painted I'd have thought it was real. You're doing excellent work, keep it up!

Thanks. I am debating on reworking the windshield frame now but the dash is perfectly tied into that on the inside. If you look at the 1:1 the windshield frame cutouts come all the way down to the hood line. *See below. It would be a couple hours of work to cut the frame and rework the dash to fix. I'm 50/50 at this point on doing it or not.

If it's on the low side of a couple hours I'd consider doing it... but if it's a couple hours that turns into 4 or 5, I'd say leave it. I figure you've got all this time into it right now and if you are confident you can make it that much more realistic, I'd do it now else you'll kick yourself for not doing it once its all done.

Kinda my thoughts are that I've already got 30 hours into the cab, what's another 1-2? The dash sits on the middle console, so I would just have to shorten the console to sit lower and then build a few support pieces behind the dash to mate up to the lower windshield frame.

Most people wouldn't even notice. I had to scroll back up to see what you were talking about. On your fuel tanks, how are they mounted? Just screws going into them from behind through the mounts? I'm working on getting the tanks on my HEMTT mounted and was looking for ideas for mounts. I will say, a simple zip tie makes an easy mount and at this size looks like a pretty realistic strap. I need my mounts beefy too, I think I'm going to hide my batteries inside the tanks and make one of the ends removable. Probably just put a couple NIMH packs inside them so they can just stay inside the tanks.

That's pretty cool, hiding the batteries in the tanks. I know it wouldn't look AS scale, but you could have the tanks be open across the whole chassis and slide an entire stick pack in there, with some sort of latch on one side.

Air and Fuel tanks are simply mounted from the bottom. The fuel tank ends will be sealed. I have tons of room under the cab for batteries/electronics.

His is my longest duration build, in ever. I get lazy working on it, then get some shots of energy to work on it. Waiting on some parts for other builds, so this one may get some more work.
