Re: 6x6 scx10 build (help needed) There are plenty of SCX based builds here, look through them for tons of great tips. If you get two SCX kits you can sell or trade off the extra's you don't need for stuff you do need. |

Re: 6x6 scx10 build (help needed) Hi ts4n, If you go onto Axial's site, Brandon has got a list of all the links he used for his 2.2 SCX 6x6. Google 'Brandon 6x6', it should come up. I'll try and find it again, "thumbsup" Here you go: http://www.axialracing.com/blog_posts/5692 |
Re: 6x6 scx10 build (help needed) You can use all thread and ally tubing and make your own links. Can get it cheap at any hardware shop. Here is a youtube video I used to make mine. They work just fine and have used them on two cars now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVV8DgZmQz8 |
Re: 6x6 scx10 build (help needed) If you aren't familiar with the link setup for a 6x6 that Axial build is a great one to start with. I used that as an initial guide for my 6x6. The third axle doesn't get much independent articulation with that setup however... |
Re: 6x6 scx10 build (help needed) I just started my 6x6 build as well using the rc4wd chassis and scx10 axles. My middle axles was hard to turn at first also then after about 5mins of spinning it it got better, Good luck on the build |
