I wish you would start driving it so us poor people will know how good it holds up.

What color/paint type is the red?

I just sell one to buy one. Well, I had to sell two for this one.
And it will be a bit before it's powered up. The lights will be a chore to route since I modified the interior.
The Walmarks paint

Crawler Innovations 1.9 Dueces Wild Foams chopped for these tall skinnies.

Good fit now.

As a member of the Szczerba Scale Advisory Board, you know the color deliberation was a long and drawn out process. I think we made a good decision that satisfied most of the group.

Suggestions on bed panel color? I have some black utility boxes the were supposed to go below the bed but will go on top.

I fully expect to replace the axles.
But Hoffy makes replacement stock axle housings that fixes the issue with diff gear support. (See my pics in earlier posts) Currently only makes the rear most housing but I chatting with him about making all three.

Another option would be his 1" narrower scx housings.

If I do any, it will probably be the stubby scx's. All I have to do is hit up hoffy and he can probably just offer a pinion output as a single, so I wouldnt' have to buy another pair. That way, I can run all the nice upgrade parts. All this is way in the future though, unless these axles break quick.

From what i have read, the rear axle goes first. It did seem "gritty" feeling out of the box. I greased it up and spun it for a while with my drill and it seemed to smooth out a lil.

If I go with black panels, I can repaint the utility boxes the cab color.

Thanks. just stare at one spot too long. Some of the details are not so detailed.

Not at the moment. I built the front light bar wide enough to do so in the future.

On a side note, these Cross Rc axles are 6.5" hex to hex. Stock front ax10 hex to hex is 7.25". And tlts are like 6.9" or so.
So, it looks like if replacement axles were needed narrowed scx's would be best, if you can get the cross rc spring mounts to jive with the ax10 housings. Or come up with something else for spring mounts.

Been working on interior parts a lil.
Started as flat 0.030 and 0.040 styrene. Dont stare too long in one spot.
