I am really liking the color.
I also think it will be a good choice since it is a decently close match to the glass. So when it gets scratched it might be less visible.

Mating the front to rear hopefully isn't too bad.
I made the bed mounts so that the height can be adjusted either with different holes in the posts or by adding washers to shim.
